Once a year we like to bring the local community together for a mindfulness festival. This is a great way to promote local businesses in the health and well-being industry and offer taster sessions to local residents to participate in the activity tent. In turn, this will help the community learn new skills and be inspired to participate in healthy activities on a weekly basis. The festival is a community fun-filled day with free arts and craft activities for children, live music, and inspiring health talks. Healthy food companies will be on-site along with other stalls from the health and wellbeing industry.
Once a month we organize a men’s circle. This is a safe space to be able to talk about the things that you may not want to share with anyone in your personal life, or just a place to be present knowing that you are in a non-judgemental space to be free and be yourself. We are in a time that is very mentally challenging for us all.
There are lots of demands from external environments whether that be from work, fatherhood, relationships, ill health, financial, self-image or just struggling to express our feelings. There has never been a more important time to ensure we are looking after ourselves physically and mentally. The session will start with a plant-based dinner and chat, moving on to the discussion circle with a weekly theme and ending with an easy, guided relaxation.
Mindfulness Activity boxes
Our mindfulness boxes are jam packed with activities for children to do at home. A range of mindful crafts, yoga poses, affirmation statements and mindful scriptures, these activity boxes will keep children engaged and help them maintain a positive and calm mindset.
