Hi there! I am Milli

I am the founder of Making It Mindful. I trained as a professional dancer at Bodywork Company Studios and graduated in 2011. After a short dance career, I ended up finding a passion for teaching dance to children. For the past 10 years I have been taking part in mindfulness activities and have seen what a positive impact it has made on my life. It all started when I picked up a book by Dr. Wayne Dyer, which lead me on a self-discovery and self-development journey.

In 2018 after traveling around East Asia and Indonesia I felt a call to merge mindfulness, movement, and creative arts together, and Making It Mindful was born! During this year I also became a mother to my first child. (2018 was a very busy year for me!) I now have two wonderful sons who are my driving force in wanting to create a more loving and peaceful world for our next generation to experience. Our children are the future and our greatest investment!

I can honestly say, I do what I love and I love what I do! Making It Mindful has a collective group of amazing individuals who each bring special qualities and gifts to the table and I am so grateful I get to work alongside wonderful creative people who make such positive impacts on many people’s lives.

A special shout out to wonderful Mum Teri! She is an inspiration to us all and works so hard behind the scenes at Making It Mindful. With 20 years of suffering from Lupus, she healed herself through adopting a positive mindset and eating a plant-based diet. She has the kindest heart and a wonderful attitude we can all learn from. She is the driving force behind our cooking programs and has a passion for helping children and families learn about the amazing benefits of healthy eating and plant-based cooking.

Thank you to all the companies and people who take part in the work that we do! Let’s keep being kind and supportive to each other and make the world a little more mindful!

Lots of love
